Aeschylus

Aeschylus was an ancient Greek playwright, widely regarded as the father of tragedy. He wrote over 90 plays, including the Oresteia trilogy, which is often regarded as his masterpiece. He was the first playwright to introduce a second actor, and is credited with developing the use of dialogue and stage action to further the plot. He was also a major influence on later tragedians, such as Sophocles and Euripides.
