Alma Katsu is an American author of historical fiction and horror novels. She is best known for her debut novel, The Taker, which was a New York Times bestseller and was named one of the best books of 2011 by Publishers Weekly. She has since written several other novels, including The Reckoning and The Deep, and is currently working on the sequel to The Taker.
