Cara Robertson is an American historian and author. She is best known for her book The Trial of Lizzie Borden, which tells the story of the notorious 1893 murder trial. She has a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University and is currently a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She has also written extensively on the history of the American legal system and the history of crime.
