David McKnight is a Canadian author and journalist who has written extensively on politics, economics, and social issues. He is the author of The Enigma of Pierre Elliott Trudeau, an acclaimed biography of the late Canadian Prime Minister, and The Call of the World: A Political Memoir. He is also the author of several books on the Canadian economy, including The Canadian Century: Moving Out of the Shadow of the US and The Canadian Economy: A Reader.
