H. A. Guerber (1859-1929) was an American historian and author best known for his works on classical mythology and folklore. He wrote several books, including The Myths of Greece and Rome and Legends of the Middle Ages, which have been widely used as reference works. He was also a professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania.
