Heidi Pitlor is an American editor, author, and lecturer. She is the former series editor of The Best American Short Stories and is currently an editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She has written two novels, The Birthdays and The Daylight Marriage, and co-edited the anthology The Moment.
