Ileana Abrev is a Cuban-American writer, editor, and educator. She is the author of the novel "The Last Cigar Factory" and the short story collection "The House on the Lagoon". She has also edited several anthologies, including "The Latin American Cultural Studies Reader". She has taught at various universities and is currently a professor at the University of Miami.
