James Agee

James Agee (1909–1955) was an American novelist, poet, screenwriter, and film critic. He is best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning novel A Death in the Family and his acclaimed nonfiction book Let Us Now Praise Famous Men. Agee was also a screenwriter for the award-winning film The African Queen (1951). His works are noted for their intense exploration of human emotions and relationships.
