Joshua Henkin is an American novelist, short story writer, and essayist. He is the author of four novels, including The World Without You, and the short story collections Matrimony and Swimming Across the Hudson. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The New York Times Magazine. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. He teaches in the MFA Program in Fiction Writing at Brooklyn College.
