Steven Moffat is a Scottish television writer and producer, best known for his work on the British TV series "Doctor Who" and "Sherlock." Moffat took over as lead writer and executive producer of "Doctor Who" from Russell T Davies in 2010 and was responsible for the show during the tenure of the Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith, and the Twelfth Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi.
