Sun Tzu (also known as Sunzi or Sun Wu) was a Chinese general, military strategist, and philosopher who lived in the 6th century BC. He is widely recognized as the author of The Art of War, an influential work of military strategy that has been applied to many fields outside of the military. Sun Tzu's teachings have been used to inform and influence both Eastern and Western military strategies, business tactics, and beyond.
