T.A. Barron is an American author of fantasy and adventure books for children and young adults. He is best known for his Merlin Saga, which follows the adventures of a young Merlin as he discovers his magical powers and works to save the legendary kingdom of Camelot. He has written more than 25 books, including the bestselling The Lost Years of Merlin series. Barron was the recipient of the Margaret A. Edwards Award for lifetime achievement in writing for young adults.
