Thomas E. Woods is an American historian, political commentator, and senior fellow at the Mises Institute, an organization dedicated to the promotion of Austrian economics, libertarian political theory, and the study of history and culture. He is the author of a number of books, including The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History and Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Government Bailouts Will Make Things Worse.
