Tod Goldberg is an American author and literary critic, known for writing both crime novels and popular fiction. He has a diverse body of work that includes novels, short stories, essays, and anthologies. One of Goldberg’s most notable achievements is the "Burn Notice" series, based on the television show of the same name. He has also received acclaim for his literary work with novels such as "Gangsterland," which received praise for its dark humor and insightful take on the mob genre. Goldberg is also the co-author of the "House of Secrets" series with Brad Meltzer. In addition to his writing career, he serves as the program director for the University of California, Riverside's low-residency MFA program in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts.
