Vicki Myron is an American author, best known for her 2008 memoir Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World. Myron was the Director of the Spencer Public Library in Spencer, Iowa, where she worked for 25 years. Her memoir tells the story of Dewey, the library cat, who was found in the library book drop in 1988 and went on to become a beloved member of the Spencer community.
