This volume covers the entire year 1968. The candidates matches for the world championship are covered in detail. Look at the partial list of annotators under the author section of this listing ! For one thing, games annotated by Spassky are quite rare. Volumes five and six of the Chess informant have been professionally bound into one hardcover volume. This avoids the frequent problem of the paper covers becoming badly worn and dogeared. The original original paper covers of volume five are bound in, but are omitted in volume six. There are 2 pages of mild marginalia on the title pages of both volumes. That page in volume 6 has also been reinforced with tape for about 3 inches though I do not see a tear. I did not see any other defects. There is some foxing of a few pages due to aging paper. Over 1500 total games in all! 17 games by Bobby Fischer are in volume 6. The green covers are not faded; they appear so due to glare of the lighting on the photos.
