Features facsimile of the original title page and frontispiece from Chapman & Hall of 186 Strand in London. Binding good, square; hinges intact. Graced with the original charming illustrations in richly subdued colors and a few partial-page b&w designs by John Leech, as the first edition. Illustrations much more clear and detailed than earlier facsimiles from 1920, etc. Very good facsimile of the ultra rare original first edition.
