This is a real find, a first edition hardcover, 1946 of the eccentric Peggy Guggenheim’s memoir. Guggenheim held the now-legendary art show which featured new works by several of the new abstract expressionists such as Jackson Pollock in their first major showings and she then began an affair with him while commissioning works. Own a vintage part of history with this hardcover! Missing the jacket but otherwise in good vintage shape.
