Matched is a dystopian young adult novel by Ally Condie. It is the first book in the Matched trilogy. The story is about a society where people are "matched" with their life partners at age 17. The book is about Cassia, who is matched with her best friend Xander Carrow. However, when she views her match details on her microcard, it glitches and a face she recognizes appears. The face is Ky Markham, an Aberration who isn't eligible to be Matched.
