This is a beautifully written glimpse into heaven that will encourage those who doubt and thrill those who believe. Colton Burpo, 3, underwent an emergency appendectomy and died. But he eventually came back to life, and told his parents he left his body during the surgery. He describes  exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital while he was gone. He then relays stories told to him by people in heaven, tells of events that happened before he was born, and shared descriptions and obscure details about heaven that matched the Bible exactly, though he had not yet learned to read.
