This was an interesting read about half-beast people and the girls that one said beast-person uses as concubines. The writing is great, but the characters didn't feel fully developed and the plot felt predictable at times. Light on the magic, light on the worldbuilding.

This book and it’s two accompanying sequels are some of my favorite books of all time. Not only is the romance between Lei and Wren the perfect sapphic fantasy relationship, but the imagery is gorgeous. The writing style is very beautiful and atmospheric. And the conflic is very entertaining!
