This is a 1927 edition of the very first book in the Hardy Boys series, owned by my grandfather, father, and their cousins. It is in excellent condition for its age. The only damage at all is shown in the photographs: someone tried to bolster the inner front spine with tape, and there are tiny fingerprints on the outer back cover and on a couple of pages. I believe both these issues could be resolved with loving and knowledgeable care. This is a first edition; note double printing of letters on several pages, as seen in photographs. Stored in nonsmoking home.
