This set includes four issues of The New York Ledger from 1874: April 18 No9; April 25 No10; May 2 No11, and August 8 No25. They are in fairly decent shape given their age, and give an amazing view of life just a short time after the Civil War. They open like a newspaper then unfold again to show four more pages inside!
