Epic story from a World War II setting. As with all Herman Wouk novels, historical facts have been meticulously researched and the story is compelling and interesting and heartbreaking and so many other emotions. I’ve read these books several times and am keeping my personal copies to read again. These copies are the Book Club Editions. Although the dust jackets are showing wear, the books themselves are in fantastic shape and display beautifully. The first book is The Winds of War and the sequel is War and Remembrance in a 2 volume set. No writing, dog ears or tears. Spines intact. Outer page edges clean. Covers are almost like new.
