We’ve found that rating the condition of boxed sets can be tricky. The box is typically in worse condition that the books inside, as the box takes the beating and protects the books. Such is the case with this set. The box could probably be rated Poor, as it’s broken and has been repaired. But the repairs appear to us to be carefully done and do not detract from the displayability of the set and have restored the protection to the books that the box provides. The books themselves are in extremely good condition, straddling the line between Like New and Excellent, leaning closer to Like New.
