I posted a pic showing the binding. Only a few threads hold the covers onto the book. It's nearly a century old though, so I'm pleased it came to me from a smoke free home and with no writing or bends or stains inside. I read it myself during the Christmas season and it's quite charming in that turn of the century love story way. If it were produced into a film today, it would be very easily made into one of those cheesy but cozy holiday films that are made for TV.
