1990 commemorative edition. This is a great book, however, what makes it special is the marginalia. The marginalia is from Henry H. Ziegler who was involved in this campaign as a Battalion Intelligence Sgt. This book was dedicated to his son, and contains testimony of his experiences and time in the Papuan Campaign, including his locations on the maps. It also contains names of other soldiers he was involved with during the campaign. This is a WW2 collector’s item, through and through. There’s only minor damage to the book ( a small rip on the back of the cover, and paperback creasing near the spine). Historic marginalia throughout.
