This is the 1970 Daughters of St. Paul pressing of the title. This book is filled with various quotations of Sister Mary of the Cross (Jeanne Jugan), the founder of the Catholic charity “Little Sisters of the Poor”. It reads more like a poetic book than a historical one. It has a few black and white photographs printed in the volume, too. There is slight browning on the bottom left corner of the book from what looks to be water damage. The binding is in great shape. No annotations.
