Undated, this publishing company lasted only 8 yrs. 1882 - 1890, this copy is priced lower and is in better condition than any other that is comparable on line. For its age it is a beautiful book, binding is fully intact, the cover is leather with marbled panels, leather is worn through at corners, all corners are slightly bumped, spine is somewhat faded, but gilt lettering and symbols are crisp and clear, some wear on bottom edge of spine and there is a 3/8" tear at top back of spine. Inside covers and front and back flyleafs are paneled with marbled paper, matching the outer covers. The pages are in very good condition, crisp, but not brittle with moderate tanning, 3 pages have very small dogears, all illustrations are in excellent condition. Top edge of pages are gold gilted. A lovely book for its age.
