A retelling of an old Japanese folklore of a wager between a fox and a tanuke (badger) to see who will end up having a monk’s temple as a home. But the fox has other plans and reaches out through a dream to the Japanese version of Morpheus… Yoshitaka Amano’s artwork, graceful and hypnotic blends well with Neil Gaiman’s prose. A beautiful book to have! This book is in great shape. Does have slight shelf wear and a small crease in the upper left corner on the back cover. The last few photos will show these issues.
