The Fallen Star by Claudia Gray is set 200 years before the events of “The Phantom Menace” and follows the Jedi Order as they deal with the aftermath of a devastating attack by the Nihil, a group of space raiders. The story takes place on Starlight Beacon, a hub of culture and knowledge in the Outer Rim. The Jedi stationed there are recovering from their injuries and emotional trauma when they learn that the Nihil are preparing for an even more dangerous attack.
