Blood of Elves is the first true novel in The Witcher. When compared to the first two books, which were short story collections, I find this method of storytelling to be far more engaging.

I struggled with this one. I knew I would. I'm not a fan of 50-100 page long chapters that have no break.
The story itself was good enough; though there's definitely more than one spot where it drags and gets either boring or repetitive.
I also wish the translator would pick a spelling for Dandilion...
