This is the story of a high school student named Jerry, who recently lost his mother and is frustrated with the way his father is just sleeping through life. The school comes up with a high pressure, chocolate fundraiser Archie, a head of a social group, is really pushing this chocolate sale on everyone, Jerry digs in his heels. He becomes something of a hero in the short term, but then The Vigils wear him down and turn him into an outcast.
