The book was made into a play in 1909, the photo before the title page was the original actress when the play premiered, also made into a movie, most notably 1933 starring Helen Hayes and Clark Gable. Book is in very good condition for its age, cover is lightly worn on edges corners and spine, pages are slightly yellowed and stained throughout, but crisp with no dogears or tears. Front inside cover is signed and dated by previous owner. Hard to find edition.
