Wow… what a ride! I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I obsessively checked how much of the book was left, as if I was in pre-mourning. I’m at a loss for words at that ending, and was on the edge of my seat throughout. How am I supposed to sleep now? Thanks, Rebecca for effectively ruining me.

unfortunately, the plot is drawn out far too long. anything i liked about violet and xaden’s relationship in the first book is undone. there a fun and enjoyable moments, but they happen too far into the book. it takes up to 36% for anything to get interesting.
overall, disappointing.
