A missionary woman's dipiction of Maori life in the second half the 1800s. Cover is soiled with bumped corners and minor edge wear, binding is firm, pages are slightly yellowed with some random spotting, otherwise in good shape. Front flyleaf has writing gifting as a birthday present (see pic). Has nice illustrations. Rare!
