I have no idea what happened to this book. But there are flaws...see photos. There is warping of the cover and brownish, blackish spots that I can't explain. I do buy both new and used books, so I dont know if it came to me this way or not. It looks like it has gotten wet on the upper right hand corner at some point. However, the book does not smell and the pages are not stuck together. This damage does not affect the readability in any way.
