Shelf 26 Memoirs of a British Agent was first published in 1932 by Putnam. A new edition was published in 1974 by Macmillan. The text of this edition follows that of the 1974 edition, with the omission of the first book and the inclusion of a new Introduction, Epilogue and Notes by the author's son, Robin Bruce Lockhart.
