All money from sales will go towards funding research for type 1 diabetes (T1D). In December of 2023, my nephew was diagnosed with T1D. He was only three years old at the time. While we're lucky to be in a family with resources and medical professionals who are familiar with T1D and can provide support to my nephew and the family, many others are not as lucky. I'm fundraising and walking in order to make a difference for those families who don't have the resources or support to manage this live-changing diagnosis. I'm supporting research in developing treatments to give everyone an equal fighting chance. I'm walking to help provide hope for a future where there is a cure, where children like my nephew can live worry-free.
