I’m an avid reader, love to write, but never get more than a couple chapters finished before getting stuck! I’m also an avid hiker. We moved to the Rockies after retirement and loving life at 9000 ft.. My perfect day is on a trail, then coming home to a good book in the evening. I read many different genres and especially love history, religion and biographies. After retiring my huband and I became EMT-IV’s here at our local Fire/EMS tucked high up in the Rocky Mountains. We are still going on calls six years later! We love our rural community, and funding is hard to come by for counties with small populations, hence most of the books listed benefit the Auxiliary , every bit helps! Books benefiting the FD have that listed in the book information.
