Daniel Keyes (1927-2014) was an American author best known for his novel Flowers for Algernon. He was a professor at Ohio University and wrote several books, including The Minds of Billy Milligan, Algernon, Charlie, and I: A Writer's Journey, and The Touch. He was a two-time Nebula Award winner and a Hugo Award nominee.
