Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson (1830–1886) was an American poet known for her unique style of writing and her reclusive lifestyle. She wrote over 1,800 poems exploring themes of death, nature, and love. Her work was largely unknown until after her death, when her sister Lavinia discovered her poems and published them. Dickinson's poetry is now considered to be some of the most innovative and influential in American literature.
