Matt Haig is a British author and journalist. He was born in 1975 in Sheffield, England, and he has written both fiction and non-fiction books. Haig began his writing career as a journalist, writing for various newspapers and magazines before turning to fiction writing. His first novel, "The Last Family in England," was published in 2004, followed by "The Dead Fathers Club" in 2006.
