Nell Freudenberger is an American author of fiction and non-fiction. She is the author of two novels, The Dissident (2006) and The Newlyweds (2010), as well as a collection of short stories, Lucky Girls (2003). Freudenberger is also a contributing editor at The New Yorker and has written for The New York Times Magazine, Harper's Magazine, and other publications.
