The third installment of the Beartown Trilogy. I think I cried the last 100 pages. Hope and grief and pain and loss, all wrapped up in a story about a hockey town. I love a book that makes me feel, and this series went above and beyond.

The Winners was good…just maybe not Beartown or Us Against You kind of good. This final installment is THICK, and sometimes it felt needlessly dense. It didn’t feel as concise or plot driven as the previous two. Several times I was left with the thought, “Was this one needed?”
