Ptolemy's Gate was the strongest of the Bartimaeus trilogy and my favorite from the series! Returning to Nathaniel and Kitty was a pleasure. Seeing where they have ended up, how much they changed, felt realistic and well written. The plot of this book is strong and really gripping.
