Seller Description
A must read if you work in 911 dispatch, know someone who does, or are simply curious about what it’s like to work in 911. This book is the most recommended by mental health professionals who work with 911 dispatchers/operators (that’s where I originally heard about it). This book is full of practical advice to withstanding the stress of 911, descriptions of the psychology behind stress and resilience, as well as personal stories from call receivers, dispatchers, and mental health professionals. I only read a few chapters before leaving my job in 911 (no this book didn’t make me leave 🤣). The inside pages are in perfect condition. The spine has some minor damage on the top and bottom edge (pictured).
